Return Policy and poor customer service

ATTN CEO Deniz Erda & VP USA Customer Service - First I must say Ive purchased many shoes from ECCO over the past 10 years and have been happy with all - except the two most recent experiences. One such is the recent purchase for my husbands birthday gift. Order #002524**** was shipped 2/16/24. Husband opened gift on his birthday (3/21/24) and unfortunately the sandals did not fit, but he also did not prefer the open toe style. Having just recently been told on another purchase that I was past the 30-day return period, I hesitated contacting customer service. But, ended up contacting the online customer service via email. I was told nothing could be done as I was past the 30-day return period. Seriously, Im only a week past the period and ECCO staff dont seem to have the ability to assess situations where an exception may be in order? I now have two pair of ECCO shoes that I paid a decent amount of money on and neither can be worn. The first pair are slip ons I bought for myself, which cut in to my ankles and Im unable to wear them. Now the sandals I bought for my husband. Ill donate my shoes and take the loss there; but Im asking for your consideration for a loyal customer to return the sandals for a full refund.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I had pictures of shoes but only kept one.

They needed both shoes to give me a credit. My bad

I put on my ecco Sandal yesterday to wear shopping, and the souls on both rubber bottoms cracked. I do not wear them often as I have several colors.

I'm writing for customers to be aware of Ecco's policies. I have been trying to reach someone at Customer Service for weeks and have mainly received generic content emails telling me about their return policies. The email says returns are processed and refunded in 2-4 weeks. A MONTH to see your money back?? Worst of all, 2 of the pairs they sent me were damaged and had some sticky, white stuff all over the sole that was unwashable. I sent everything back pretty promptly and it was received back at Ecco Jan 5. I've been fighting ever since to get an answer or more importantly a refund. This really amounts to fraud at this point when no one is responding at the company so I can't escalate anything. Also they're keeping all the money while not answering so before I get my credit card merchant involved, I truly have no idea if and when they plan on giving customers back their money. Very shady and please save yourself the trouble!

THIS ECCO SHOES STORE IS USING SNEAKY SALES TACTICS: I bought three pairs of shoes from this store. The sales rep. Didn't mention one of the pairs of shoes is in the FINAL Sale and has no return exchange. That pair of shoes is for my son, and it was a little too big. I returned it to the store to exchange it for a smaller pair. The owner/manager refused to exchange it. She stated it was a FINAL SALE and no exchange nor refund. I pointed out that no labels showed the final sales could not be exchanged or refunded. The receipt stated I had thirty days to return/refund if not worn. She just walked away and ignored us. Very rude lady. No more ECCO shoes for me and my family.

About refund for returned shoes

Refunded shoes but have not received refund. This is the second time this has happened. And they don't answer the phone. Great shoes, lousy company.

Shoes soles are torn in pieces on one pair the other pair the side glue has come off making the sides come off

Ecco men's golf shoe gortex with Boa system

Several years back I got a pair of your Gortex Black Men's Golf Shoe with the BOA system. I really have enjoyed them and would like to get another pair. Your current models have the BOA system on the side and I can not comfortably tighten them like I could with the system on the top. The ones that tighten on the top are water resistant but not water proof. Can you still get some of the older models? I have had two pairs and really like them. I have size 11-11 1/2. Thanks for any help you can give me.
